Haansol Rim is a Seoul based film and creative director, whose work spans film, commercials, music videos, and video art installations. Drawing from an international upbringing—born in Münster and shaped by experiences in Seoul, San Francisco, and New York—his work reflects a rich tapestry of cultural influences. At the heart of his creative vision lies a deep passion for storytelling, exploring the essence of objects through multi-layered narratives crafted within his distinctive world.

He has collaborated with a-list talent and clients such as A$AP Rocky, Sailli, U-Know, J-Tong, Adidas, Under Armour, and Spyder. In 2019, he made a notable contribution as a film director and creative collaborator for Sailli’s visual album The Light. The project premiered to critical acclaim at prestigious festivals including ATLFF (Atlanta Film Festival) and SFDFF (San Francisco Dance Film Festival) and earned a Special Mention at BIDFF (Bucharest International Dance Film Festival).
